The Rio do Rastro Eco Resort is situated in the municipality of Bom Jardim da Serra in the state of Santa Catarina at an altitude of 1560 meters and on the edge of the São Joaquim National Park. The buildings are impeccable and rustic, offering  a cozy shelter from the high altitude weather with a mix of refinement and simplicity.

The 18 chalets come equipped with fireplaces, heated verandas and jacuzzis with view over the open fields. The restaurant presents typical “Serrana” gastronomy, harmonized with 60 national and international wines from the cellar.

The Resort possesses a weather controlled Spa with an indoor pool and a heated outdoor whirlpool, a cinema theater, a game room and fitness centre, saunas, bar, boutique and an events space. Trout fishing, trekking, canoeing and horseback riding up to the canyons are part of the leisure options.

Guests can also enjoy the traditions of local culture in the Galpão Crioulo where there’s always an open fire barbecue, Chimarrão tea and a harmonica to get the socializing going.
