The Pousada is situated at the top of a valley, within an Environmental Protection Area, 2.5 km away from the historical centre of Pirenópolis, in the state of Goais. The city of Pirenópolis enjoys the status of Nacional Historical Heritage, granted by IPHAN.
The architectural style of the pousada is in keeping with that of the region and of the city’s heritage. The pousada is situated in a 330.000 square meters area, of which approximately 85 % is dedicated to preserving the native forest.
The Cavaleiro dos Pireneus has two ecological walking tracks – reforested with species typical of the savanna (cerrado), catalogued trees, water springs, natural swimming pools, reading and resting areas. The pousada has a private helipad.
In the omnipresent gardens, there is a spa for massage and relaxation, quiet nooks, alcoves and gazebos, a heated swimming pool, a sauna with a glass wall allowing for a panoramic view of the city.
