Pousada Zé Maria, located in the ecologic sanctuary of Fernando de Noronha Island, is the perfect example of technology induced comfort with environmental preservation. Situated next to the Morro do Pico, one of the Island’s most famous landmarks, the project was designed for maximum preservation of natural resources.

There is a total of 21 accommodations: 6 conventional apartments, 12 bungalows with hammocks on the veranda and view on the sea, and 3 special bungalows with jacuzzis and verandas with views of the sea and of Morro do Pico. The decoration is beachy and rustic.

The garden with more than 800 fruit and ornamental trees has hammocks that swing in the murmur of the sea breeze. At the edge of the infinity pool there is a multi-level bar under an enormous cashew tree.

The simplicity of the local dishes, seasoned with Zé Maria’s own alchemy, has benefited from the alliance with Chef Celso Freire’s consultancy. The varied menu brings a freshness and softness appropriate to tropical climates. The Sushi Bar completes the Zen atmosphere.
